Tracey & Stewart's Intimate Wedding at Sale Town Hall & Sale Golf Club | Manchester Wedding Photographer

Some love stories take years.

Others arrive quietly, completely unexpectedly, and somehow make perfect sense from the very beginning.

Tracey and Stewart met in February. By July, they were standing hand in hand at Sale Town Hall, surrounded by just 23 of the people they love most, promising each other forever. It was one of those weddings that reminds you that there really aren't any rules. Sometimes, when you know, you know.

As a Manchester wedding photographer, these intimate celebrations will always have a special place in my heart. With a smaller guest list comes a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, where every conversation feels meaningful and every person in the room has played an important part in the couple's story.

The morning was calm, full of excitement and plenty of happy anticipation before everyone gathered at Sale Town Hall for a heartfelt ceremony. Among their closest family was Tracey's daughter, actress Yasmin Finney, although on this day she was simply there as a proud daughter, celebrating her mum alongside the rest of the family.

The sunshine couldn't have been more generous. Blue skies followed us all day, making it one of those glorious British summer days that seem to encourage everyone to linger a little longer, smile a little wider and savour every moment.

After a joyful confetti tunnel outside the town hall, we headed to nearby Walkden Gardens for portraits. It's one of my favourite hidden corners of Trafford and such a beautiful place for wedding photographs, especially in the height of summer. We took our time, wandered through the gardens and found little pockets of beautiful light, never rushing, simply letting the afternoon unfold.

The celebrations continued at Sale Golf Club, where rolling fairways provided the perfect backdrop for a few more portraits between tee times. It's one of the lovely things about photographing weddings in familiar places across Greater Manchester; every venue has its own character, and every couple brings something completely different to it.

Back inside, the speeches were exactly what you'd hope for: heartfelt, funny and full of stories that had everyone laughing one moment and wiping away tears the next.

What stayed with me most, though, was the joy.

Not the big, loud kind.

The quiet sort that sits beneath everything. The kind that comes from finding your person and deciding not to wait another day longer than you need to.

I absolutely loved getting to know Tracey and Stewart. Their warmth, kindness and obvious love for one another made every part of the day a pleasure to photograph. It was relaxed, full of laughter, beautifully uncomplicated and a perfect reminder that the best Manchester weddings aren't defined by how long you've been together, but by how deeply you love each other.

Thank you both for trusting me to tell your story. It was such a privilege to be your photographer—and, as always, your time machine.
