Reem & Tom - An Epic Dance Party Warehouse Wedding of Dreams - Victoria Warehouse Wedding

If you’re planning a wedding at Victoria Warehouse in Salford, you’ll absolutely love Reem & Tom's EPIC party of a wedding day!

Reem and Tom got married at Victoria Warehouse, which is a iconic symbol of Manchester's roots just over the bridge in Salford with a true blank canvas that you can make your own. It was one of the most fun weddings I’ve shot and even the weather played ball! The ceremony was a beautiful service the main bay, candlelit and minimalistically decorated. During the ceremony they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was really emotional. The whole space was filled with tealights, which I loved. The reception was just off The Bays in the main bar, spilling out to the sun-drenched porch at Victoria Warehouse – I love this venue because it's such a unique space and can be personalised to truly reflect your own style and vibe for the day. Weddings at Victoria Warehouse are amazing, because it’s got such a great atmosphere.

Victoria Warehouse has a real party atmosphere, and is one of the coolest places to get married in Manchester. The venue offers seriously good food – and there are loads of amazing places that are perfect for photos.

The couple had a drinks reception in the afternoon, and a live band in the evening. Rather than the traditional wedidng coverage of prep-first dance, the party-conscious couple opted to skip the prep and extend coverage for an hour or two into the evening as they danced away to the INCREDIBLE New Power Soul Club.Reem & Tom are super into music - Tom even worked as a DJ at one point - so the lighting and sound were the most important elements of the day.In such a music-rich city like Manchester, Victoria Warehouse was the PERFECT backdrop for their celebrations. For dinner they had proper wedding grub, and the first dance was to Bon Iver & Kanye's melodic tune Lost in the Woods set against some meticulously chosen lighting displays. It was the perfect lead-in to one hell of a dance party from there.

Reem wore the most perfectly tailored white beaded gown and Tom wore a killer all-black tux and they looked really incredible. The bried for the guests was black tie and oh my goodness, did this VERY stylish bunch deliver.I was OBSESSED with how every single one of their guests took the dress code and ran with it - an amazing bonus was running into my wonderful former couple Lucy & Matt whose own magical wedding I captured just over a year ago.

The couple got in touch with me this year, and their enquiry was so fun. They said they just wanted to party, and I loved that they were so relaxed. When we met for their pre-wedding shoot earlier this summer, we got on like a house on fire and I knew that their wedding was going to feel special. I felt totally trusted and supported throughout the day and because of this really was able to stretch my creativity to it's limits and explore light and space in the context of a wedding.Reem and Tom's wedding was a perfect expample of leaning into some traditions - with the AMAZING speeches and gorgeous details - whilst still having the wedding of their dreams. When we went out for portraits round 2 in the evening, Tom mused that it felt like the day was evaporating right before his eyes and he wanted to slow it down. The best part of my job is bottling that joy for you, creating a time capsule of that feeling, those moments. That's where the magic happens, THAT'S my why.

I loved spending the day and evening with Reem & Tom and their very special friends and family - here's a sneak peek of what we got up to!
