The Story So Far
Laura & Lewis - A Big Fat Celebration of LOVE (featuring a scene-stealing rescue pup!) - Stock Farm Wedding - Cheshire Wedding Photographer
There is DELIGHT and I cannot think of another couple who embody this magic golden time than the exquisite Laura & Lewis who got married in the family embrace at the beautiful Stock Farm in Knutsford. With their gorgeous rescue pup Jack faithfully at their feet, the happy couple said their vows on the lush green lawn in front of their dearest friends and family and there was not a dry eye in sight!
Condragulations, You're Married! - A Rainbow-Wedding-Drag-Queen Styled Shoot in Celebration of Pride! - Manchester Wedding Photography
With Pride month on the horizon, I knew I wanted to create a shoot that celebrated, above all, JOY and LOVE. I wanted drama and theatre and COLOUR and glitter and, after spending a significant portion of lockdown binging RuPaul’s Drag Race, I wanted DRAG!!!!
Lucy & Matt - The Dreamiest, Rainy-Day Farm Wedding at Home - Lancashire Wedding Photography
Lucy & Matt have been together for what their friends will describe as forever. If you caught hteir pre-wedding session on my social media, you’ll have seen the easy, relaxed chemistry they share - a gentle camaraderie, an equal balance and a clear, electric adoration for each other that jumps out of every photo. I should have realised that their pre-wedding shoot set me up for an even greater concentration of that connection on their wedding day.
Amber & Andy - Love Always Wins (even in the rain!) - A Sale Town Hall Micro-Wedding
Today was a typical Manchester spring day - grey, torrential rain but full of laughter and joy and an attitude to embrace whatever is thrown at you. After a very moving micro-ceremony with just their extraordinary blended family (in a full-circle moment, I got to witness the marriage with Andy’s sister Stephanie!), we braved the rain, Amber kicked off her shoes and we had a quick run around Sale’s own secret garden for photos.
Clare & Bobby - A Golden-Hour Woodland Wedding - Cheshire Woodland Weddings
Throughout the uncertainty of 2020 and the very gradual reopening of 2021, Clare & Bobby’s patience and persistence payed off and April 17th 2021 truly was one of the most glorious wedding days I’ve had the privilege to capture. The magical soft golden sunshine and warmer temperatures combined with a truly spectacular (and impeccably run) venue, the birdsong, the beautiful, emotional faces of close family and friends included to witness the joining of these remarkable humans was the stuff of wedding dreams.
How to Build a Wedding - Elopements & Micro-Weddings, the Grand Soireé, and Everything in Between
I want to share here with you all the ways a wedding can look - how these restrictions announced will never take away from the fact that your wedding is forever and exactly that: YOURS. Have the wedding of your dreams, whatever that means. Have the wedding you never dreamed of, whatever that means.
Have. The. Wedding.
Love is the Only Thing I Know - 2020, A Year
In January 2020, I gathered together with my favourite crew of talented wedding suppliers and we produced an epic, regal, rock and roll medieval wedding shoot at Peckforton Castle. In February I shot my first two weddings of the year, invigorated and eager for a full season ahead. And then it was March. And then the world stopped. Stillness descended, plans were changed and it was just all very quiet.
