On a picturesque day in the heart of Cheshire, Cat and Rory celebrated their love story surrounded by the historic charm of Dorfold Hall. The morning started off with a touch of clouds overhead, creating an atmosphere of anticipation. Little did anyone know, the weather was about to turn into glorious sunshine, mirroring the radiance and joy that filled the air.

Cat and Rory's journey began years ago during their time at the University of Edinburgh. Their love blossomed amidst the cobblestone streets and beautiful landscapes of Scotland's capital city, and it was clear from the start that they were destined to share a lifetime of adventures together.

The stunning Dorfold Hall proved to be the perfect backdrop for this magical day. Its elegant architecture combined with the lush surrounding gardens created a fairytale-like setting, transporting guests to a world of timeless beauty. As old friends reunited and new acquaintances were made, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement and anticipation. But it was the weather that truly added an unexpected touch of magic to the day. As the ceremony commenced, led by good friend Rory (the second), the clouds slowly made way for the sun, casting a warm and golden glow over the proceedings as they emerged to a shower of confetti. The couple had truly thought of everything including lawn games for morning-suit attired guests to play during the drinks reception on the sprawling gardens of Dorfold.

The day continued with heartfelt speeches, laughter, and love-filled moments that will be joyfully remembered for years to come. The newlyweds were radiant, their smiles capturing the essence of true happiness. Surrounded by loved ones, they danced the night away, forgetting the world and embracing the moment with open hearts - and some killer choreography.

I cannot express what an absolute joy it’s been getting to know these wonderful humans in the lead-up to the big day. I felt trusted and supported throughout - shoutout to the mega team at Dorfold for taking such exceptional care of me! - and I genuinely have never laughed so hard as I did today.
