As a Salford and Manchester city centre wedding photographer, I see a lot of fantastic venues, but The Black Friar was something special. Nestled just outside Manchester city centre, it brought a brilliant mix of historic charm and laid-back pub vibes—the perfect spot for an evening that was all about food, friendship, and fun.

Set in the heart of the Peak District, Dunston Hall was the perfect setting for this absolute dream of a day. The sun was shining, the champagne was flowing, and the whole vibe was effortlessly elegant from start to finish. The dress code was black tie, and both grooms looked completely gorgeous in their double-breasted tuxedos – so classic, so sharp, and so them. The kind of style that makes you do a little happy dance behind the camera (guilty!).

Saturday was an absolute joy as I had the honour of photographing Jackie and David’s beautiful wedding at the stunning Manchester Art Gallery. As a Manchester wedding photographer, I’m lucky enough to capture so many incredible love stories, but this one felt especially meaningful.
