Perhaps not the big jolly day initially envisioned, yesterday’s very intimate Hillbark Hotel ceremony and backyard ‘covid-kosher’ mini-celebration was no less joyous…if anything the joy and love were palpable, wrapping our lovers in a snug cloak of happiness as they said their vows before a pared-back guest list of only dearest friends and relatives (less than thirty, I promise).

I was first introduced to the WONDERFUL and hilarious Jo & Scott via mutual friends (and fellow wedding photographers!) Zoe & Tom of About Today Photography. Needless to say, I landed the gig and thus tagged along yesterday afternoon to capture what was a beautiful, joyous, friend and family-filled celebration at the Waterhouse-designed Council Chambers (part of the University of Manchester) and onward to a big fat soiree at the quirky/cool Leaf on Portland Street.
