This beautiful, warm couple has so so much love in their lives and it was such a treat to spend an afternoon in their orbit. From the moment I walked into Abbie’s family home and was greeted by a grinning bustle of activity to the the nervy moments pre-ceremony to finally a surprise golden-hour portrait shoot and all the small sparks of magic in-between, Abbie & Rob concocted a wedding that paid tribute to their previous plans, looked ahead to the big fat soiree next year and still, though not what was originally expected, became the PERFECT wedding day of their dreams.

Originally Emma & Dan had planned the massive do at an iconic Manchester venue. But with the uncertainty of restrictions looming, the day was, several times, scaled back and morphed and molded until eventually it settled into the PERFECT wedding day it became: a gorgeous, intimate family ceremony at the beautiful Stockport Town Hall followed by a laughter & gin-filled reception at the Heaton Moor wine bar, Thom’s Bar.

Mika & Kelman’s wedding was a breathtaking presentation of both tradition and modern style. This beautiful couple met ten years ago whilst studying at the University of Manchester and have remained close with their gorgeous community of friends who truly made Sunday’s wedding a celebration to remember.

Sally and Chris began planning their wedding, not just in a pandemic, but from afar whilst living and working as teachers in Kenya. The new Mr. & Mrs. Whitby have been working tirelessly throughout this pandemic caring for all creatures great and small - Leanne as a physio and Gareth as a vet. Perhaps the selflessness of their chosen careers has given them a karmic leg up because the relatively insignificant hiccups to their day (their second or third date, I’ve lost track) couldn’t dampen the overwhelming joy of what was truly a spectacular wedding day.

Yesterday the effervescent Jacqui married her sweetheart Dave in the Inglenook Suite of the GORGEOUS Rowton Hall in Chester with just a few very close family members faithfully looking on whilst their labrador (and ultimate flower girl) Mabel Pie bounded around greeting all her new best friends with her very own flower collar and goober-dog grin.

There is DELIGHT and I cannot think of another couple who embody this magic golden time than the exquisite Laura & Lewis who got married in the family embrace at the beautiful Stock Farm in Knutsford. With their gorgeous rescue pup Jack faithfully at their feet, the happy couple said their vows on the lush green lawn in front of their dearest friends and family and there was not a dry eye in sight!
