Leanne & Gareth - A Colourful, Relaxed, Country Pub Cheshire Wedding - CHeshire Wedding Photography

I’ll never be your beast of burden
My back is broad but it’s a-hurting
All I want for you to make love to me
I’ll never be your beast of burden
I’ve walked for miles, my feet are hurting
All I want for you to make love to me
— The Rolling Stones

I’m not sure if it’s because my last two weddings have taken place in centuries-old churches. Or if it’s because of the many obstacles in the path of my 2021 couples. Or maybe it’s pure dumb, beautiful luck but, regardless of where your faith lies, it’s undeniable that the weather gods have been smiling down on us recently and the sheer relief that’s broughgt has made weddings feel like a near-euphoric praise of powers from beyond. And I cannot think of a more deserving couple of all the good stuff the universe has on offer than the WONDROUS and truly gorgeous (inside and out) Leanne & Gareth.

The new Mr. & Mrs. Whitby have been working tirelessly throughout this pandemic caring for all creatures great and small - Leanne as a physio and Gareth as a vet. Perhaps the selflessness of their chosen careers has given them a karmic leg up because the relatively insignificant hiccups to their day (their second or third date, I’ve lost track) couldn’t dampen the overwhelming joy of what was truly a spectacular wedding day. I’ve loved so much getting to know them these past months and with Gareth’s own interest in photography and Leanne’s incredibly sense of style and impeccable wedding taste, their wedding day was a veritable feast foer a photographer! I fell madly in love with these two dreamboats and couldn’t contain my own glee at the fact that Gareth had actually location scouted for their portraits, offering me a wheat field for the earlier bridal party portraits and then a sumptuous golden-hour cornfield for their more intimate evening session. And in between there was so much giddiness and gin and raucous speeches all centred in their home village of Bunbury.

I love devery moment of Leanne & Gareth’s beautfiul wedding day, I couldn’t wait a moment longer to share with you their sneak peek…
