Candy & Matt - A West Tower Wedding Spectacular (with fire eaters!)

When I married my husband Michael, we made the decision to settle down and buy our home in the South Manchester suburb that he grew up in. We’re just around the corner from his family, our daughter now walks the short length of pavement to her school and, because he grew up here and has quite a large extended family, there’s a high chance of running into someone we know just nipping out to the shop. I LOVE this feeling, knowing our foundations are solid and it’s such a far cry from my slightly more nomadic upbringing. So when I began working in the wedding industry - which is already such a condensed group in the North West (a wonderfully supportive and loving and amazing group to be a part of) - there was a large probability that my extended family would enmesh with my job. And I’m so so fortunate it has because for that beautiful entanglement, I was lucky enough to have the AMAZING Candy and Matt get in touch via a connection to my mother-in-law.

The lovely Candy emailed me about her upcoming West Tower wedding early last year. She and fiance Matt were pulling out all the stops to plans the most epically entertaining West Tower wedding of their dreams, complete with live goldfish centrepieces, a silhouette artist, balloon modelling, a magician, casino tables and the piece de resistance: a breathtaking performance by a pair of fire dancers! It was a true showstopper of a summer wedding and their gorgeous dogs even made an appearance. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE dogs at weddings?? We didn’t even let the rain spoil our fun, racing outside and exploring the stunning West Tower grounds in-between showers. I LOVE the stormy skies looming over this beautiful West Tower wedding in Candy & Matt’s wedding photos!

After a very emotional ceremony and some truly hilarious speeches (including one by Candy’s best friend Rob that really brought the house down!), the rain let up and the rest of the day was spent enjoying the ample entertainment and relaxing in this spectacular Cheshire wedding venue. I had an absolute ball spending the day with this beautiful pair, surrounded by their wonderfully warm friends and family - plus working for the first time with my pal, videographer Tom Harrington! Thank you again to the lovely Mr. & Mrs. Redfern, here’s a peek at what we got up to!
