Flo & Rosy - A Joyful & Stylish Manchester Museum Wedding - Manchester Museum Wedding Photography

Your eyes drop three octaves when you want me

Your body is transposed into the key

Of sand dunes, raw quartz, heat from a low sun.

Suddenly as graceful as when you dance

No longer smashing your limbs into

Unmoving table-tops or burning your hands

On every available hot surface

Or head-butting the car door when you dive in

You know, it used to keep me up at night,

The lack of you

As a Manchester wedding photographer, I’m always excited when couples choose venues that really reflect their personalities. Flo and Rosy’s Manchester Museum wedding was one of those days that felt truly their own – joyful, stylish, and unforgettable, all beneath the incredible backdrop of Stan the T-Rex.

The morning began at the Kimpton Clocktower, where both Flo and Rosy got ready surrounded by laughter and anticipation. Their outfits were nothing short of spectacular. Flo wore a Temperley London mesh and sequin gown, its delicate design catching the light like butterfly wings, while Rosy’s silver tasseled and sequined Karen Millen dress shimmered with every step. Their vibrant hair and makeup not only complemented each other but set the tone for the whole day – bold, expressive, and full of life. Guests joined in the fun too, embracing the “outshine the brides” dress code with an explosion of colour, sparkle, and creativity.

The ceremony itself, beneath Stan the T-Rex, was both emotional and personal – one of those moments where you could feel the love in the room. After vows and happy tears, confetti showered the newlyweds as everyone celebrated together. Guests then made their way into the Living Worlds gallery for a meal and speeches, surrounded by fascinating exhibits that gave the evening a sense of wonder and uniqueness.

For me, a highlight was exploring the museum with Flo and Rosy for portraits. They were completely at ease, enjoying the adventure of it all, and the galleries provided the most beautiful backdrops to capture their connection. A detail that really spoke volumes about them as people was their choice of venue: ensuring full mobility access was a must. It reflected their thoughtfulness and desire to make sure every guest could share in the celebration without barriers.

As night fell, the atmosphere only grew more joyful. The dance floor quickly filled, and it was clear this was a party where no one held back. Leaving Flo and Rosy surrounded by music, laughter, and so much love, I knew this was a wedding people would remember for years to come.

If you’re planning a Manchester Museum wedding or searching for a Manchester wedding photographer, Flo and Rosy’s day is a wonderful reminder of how personal, stylish, and joy-filled a celebration can be. It was an absolute privilege to capture the story of two people so clearly made for each other.
