Vivienne and Andy got married in June at the grand Belle Epoque Hotel, which is a stunning, iconic venue in the centre of Knutsford. It was the most beautiful wedding and the sun shone all day long!

Philippa & Kallum: A Saddleworth Hotel Wedding

With a cake cutting to start off the hilarious and very moving speeches (including a full set of props by Pippa's dad!) the guests were then entertained by the awesome Magic Kay's sleight of hand and tunes by the soulful Johnny Walker, setting up an evening full of so much laughter and dancing and silliness - Pippa and Kallum and I even managed to escape to the games room for a quick game of billiards (turns out our bride was a bit of a Shark!)

Suzanne & Matthew: A West Didsbury Engagement Shoot

Suzanne & Matthew asked me to photograph their Manchester Town Hall wedding in September this year.  2017 felt so far away but I was thrilled! Are You Afraid of the Dark?: A Belle Epoque Wedding Workshop with Jonny Draper Photography Training

As a wedding photographer, I have a very specific set of fears that are beyond my control: that the vicar/registrar/celebrant has very specific rules for me, that the weather won't cooperate and it will be impossible to even get the cute umbrella shots and that the ceremony room will be SO. DARK. and tricky to subtly light whilst staying unobtrusive (see above vicar fears).  And the wedding industry is changing so much (in a good way!) in that weddings are now taking place year-round, not just in the super bright summer months, in unbeliavable locations and to stay relevant and current it's my job to continue expanding the tools in my toolbelt.
