An animal-loving and outdoorsy couple, these happy couple found the PERFECT venue in the quintessentially Cheshire estate, Merrydale Manor. Though I’ve shot at Merrydale’s sister venue, Colshaw Hall several times, this was my first visit to Merrydale and I should have known I was in for a treat - their events teams are legendary, the venue exquisite and the the food by Barrett’s Event Caterers, INCREDIBLE.

What a crazy beautiful blustery day!!! I had such a fabulous time in one of my very favourite Manchester city centre wedding venues, the iconic King Street Townhouse. Not even the intense rainy weather could dim the beautiful Clare & George’s glow and I was so honured to have captured such a fun and emotional day for them.

WHAT A YEAR. Honestly, what an unbelievable way to spend 12 months: hanging out with wonderfully warm and fun couples in beautiful environments and capturing some of their most precious memories. I always knew that when I began this journey into wedding photography, I was heading towards something special but 2017 and the huge outpouring of support I've received from so many amazing former strangers has been completely overwhelming.
Zoe & Chris: A Belle Epoque Vintage Wedding
Zoe is the brains and baking behind the fabulous mobile Vintage Afternoon Tea company and hooked me with her infectious laugh and a lemon drizzle cake that I still dream about. She had seen my work on a previous wedding and we started talking more about her big day: an old-fashioned knees up at the beautiful Belle Epoque hotel in the heart of Knutsford.
