Alicia & Matt opted for full party atmosphere with beer pong (and personalised ping-pong balls!) and cornhole during the drinks reception in the afternoon and a live band in the evening. I love that Alicia & Matt truly thought of EVERYTHING and so there wasn't any sort of awkward lull throughout the day, it just flowed perfectly.

When these two amazing humans first got in touch, there was only a vague idea of what the day was going to look like. One part was clear though, they were happy to just opt for my micro-coverage of 2 hours which was just enough to catch a beautifully private ‘first look’ between the bride and groom, all the special moments of the ceremony, confetti tossing and family group shotting and some quick, relaxed portraits before they whisked away in a minibus to their pub-quiz reception.

Hannah and Dan got married at Victoria Warehouse, which is a warehouse in Salford with an urban vibe and geometric backdrops for DAYS. It was one of the most fun weddings I’ve shot working alongside some amazing fellow suppliers (like my pal James Wray on v ideo!) and the sun even made an appearance!

Abbie & Rob FINALLY got their due: a rousing, energetic, soiree of a garden party in that same field with the original 30ish guests but another 60ish added for good measure. And OH WHAT A PARTY IT WAS! Our new(ish) Mr. & Mrs. Jones donned their wedding garb from 10 months previous but ditched the bouquet for some stylish sunnies and made their entrance to massive cheers through a much longer confetti tunnel.

From there the day stretched out ahead with guests lounging in the gorgeous sunshine, super fun canapes of tacos and tequila shots handed out, an acoustic set by the wonderful Rolling Keys (who also serenaded the ceremony!) and we snuck out for some light breaking and entering during our portrait session. Lauren & Joe made my job SO easy, they’re incredibly natural in front of the camera and their energy complements each other perfectly. I’ve loved so so much getting to know them.

Catherine and Iain celebrated their marriage at Colshaw Hall, which is an old country house in the heart of Cheshire with stunning grounds. Colshaw Hall is one of my very favourite places to work despite the fact that EVERY wedding I’ve shot there has had torrential rain that has stopped me from truly exploring it’s extensive STUNNING gardens.
Maria & Tom - A Beautifully Joyous Vow Renewal 2 Years Later - Holford Estate Weddings
Two years on and Maria & Tom have FINALLY got the wedding day of their dreams. And what a spectacular day it’s been. The bridal party is the same and expanded thanks to a mini baby boom in the interim. There were more family, more pals and a hell of a lot more dancing. Following an emotional ceremony led by Maria’s sister Emma and with poignant and plentiful tributes to both Maria’s late father Tony & Tom’s late father Chris, there was no shortage of tears both happy and in memory.

Beth & Andy truly assembled an exceptional team to create their epic wedding day - from the jaw-dropping horse & carriage entrance to the blossom trees and 'wishing tree' acting as a sort of guestbook, the inspired crisp arch and pick and mix, cardboard cutouts of their rescue dogs Zara & Willow, plus amazing videographer (and new pal!) Craig who was a dream to work alongside. Their wedding was truly one for the books
