Laura & Chris - A Laidback, Relaxed Didsbury House Hotel Wedding - Manchester Wedding Photography

This for you, for both of you,

a small poem of happiness
filled with small glories and little triumphs
a fragile, short cheerful song
filled with hope and all sorts of futures

Because at weddings we imagine the future
Because it’s all about “what happened next?”
all the work and negotiation and building and talk
that makes even the tiniest happily ever after
something to be proud of for a wee forever
— Neil Gaiman

If you’re planning a wedding at Didsbury House Hotel in Manchester., you’ll find tons of inspo from this wedding!

Laura and Chris got married at Didsbury House Hotel, which is a hotel in Manchester. with tonnes of gorgeous, fun personality and all yours for the full day - it feels like the most incredible house party! It was such a fun wedding and even the rain didn’t dampen the day!

The ceremony was an intimate affair in the main ceremony room, dressed elegantly with white blooms by the amazing Sian of the Flower Lounge. There wasn't a dry eye in sight as this gorgeous long time couple said their vows! During the ceremony Laura & Chris held hands and you could really feel their connection. It was a real tear-jerker.

They decorated the area with flowers, which I loved. The reception was in a beautiful room at Didsbury House Hotel – I love this venue because it’s so cosy and relaxed. Weddings at Didsbury House Hotel are amazing, because the building is got such a great atmosphere.

Didsbury House Hotel is perfect for couples who want a chilled out wedding, and is one of the loveliest places to get married in Manchester. The venue offers onsite bedrooms so guests don’t have to leave early – and there are so many beautiful spots that are perfect for photos.

The couple had a cocktail drinks reception in the afternoon, and a live band in the evening. The dance floor was PACKED from the moment Fletch took the stage! For dinner they had proper wedding grub, and they skipped out on the first dance, choosing to just cut the cake and enjoy the rest of their party instead. They finished off the evening with a proper silly dance party!

Laura wore a traditional white gown and Chris wore a three-piece suit and they looked really perfect. Laura isn't known for getting super dolled up so the look on Chris's face when he saw her during their pre-ceremony 'first look' was PRICELESS. She looked incredible!!

The couple got in touch with me last year, and their enquiry was really touching. They said they didn’t care about anything except having arelaxede, easy day, and I loved that they just wanted to party and eat cake. At their pre-wedding shoot last month had such a fun time and I couldn't wait for the main event.
