Rebecca and Greg got married at St. Bartholomew's, which is their the local church in Wilmslow before moving onto the AMAZING Styal Lodge, just up the road. It was the most beautiful wedding and even the rain didn’t dampen the day!

The ceremony was an intimate service in a beautiful church. During the ceremony they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was such a personal service.

They decorated the area with thousands of fairy lights - the rectory was super festive and their floral additions just added to the atmosphere, which I loved. The reception was in a beautiful room at Styal Lodge – I love this venue because it’s so cosy and relaxed. Weddings at Styal Lodge are amazing, because the building has got such a great atmosphere.

Styal Lodge is perfect for couples who want a big party, and is one of the loveliest places to get married in Cheshire. The venue offers an onsite golf course for the morning after – and there so many incredible backdrops that are perfect for photos.

The couple had drinks and canapes in the afternoon, and a live band in the evening. Groovy Revolution got everyone on their feet dancing, belting out the hits with their infectious energy. For dinner they had proper wedding grub, and the first dance was to their favourite song. They finished off the evening with a very precarious sparkler tunnel.

Rebecca wore a traditional white gown and Greg wore his formal dress uniform as he's currently serving in the military and they looked really dapper. These beauties are so gorgeously matched, as Greg said in his beautiful speech, he's loved Rebecca for over 20 years.It was such a wonderful celebration of their history.

The couple got in touch with me last year, and their enquiry really excited me as I had shot Rebecca's sister Francesca's wedding just a couple of year ago! I couldn't wait to spend the day with their amazing family & get to know Greg's side. They said they just wanted to be married, and I loved that they just really wanted me there. Despite the torrential, constant rain, we still amanged to get some gorgeous portraits and fun bridal party set-ups - Becky & Greg were game for literally everything I threw at them and I loved the chance to truly get stuck in and creative!
