Chloe & Adam - A Love Letter to Manchester at The People’s History Museum & Fairfield Social Club - Manchester Wedding Photographer
“Because maybe
You’re gonna be the one that saves me
And after all
You’re my wonderwall”
Oh, what a day. Chloe & Adam’s wedding was a love letter to Manchester in every sense, and as someone who absolutely adores capturing Manchester city-centre weddings, this one felt extra special from start to finish.
These two first met at a The Killers concert Manchester 2022 (which honestly feels like fate doing its thing), so it was only right that their wedding day wove Manchester right into its story. The city isn’t just a backdrop for them – it’s part of who they are. Adam’s dad even used to be a Manchester history tour guide, which made their choice of venues feel even more meaningful.
We began the day at the stunning People's History Museum, a space that’s full of character and quiet grandeur. It set the tone beautifully for a ceremony that felt both heartfelt and effortlessly cool. And then, in true Manchester fashion, the weather kept us guessing… but in the end, the rain held off (thank you, universe), and we were able to wander the city streets capturing all that iconic urban magic. There is something so special about photographing couples in places that actually mean something to them – it brings a whole different kind of energy to the images.
We then headed over to one of my absolute favourite venues, Fairfield Social Club. I will never get tired of this place. It’s relaxed, vibrant, full of personality – and always such a brilliant setting for a proper celebration. It’s also always a joy to work with Jules and her wonderful team, who make everything feel seamless and full of warmth.
The whole day had that perfect mix of meaning and mischief. Incredible food, heartfelt moments, and a dance floor that absolutely delivered. The kind of wedding where you look around and can just feel how loved Chloe & Adam are.
I was also lucky enough to be working alongside some brilliant friends and creatives – Emily from Keepsake Videography, the magic-makers at Meet Cute Cakes, and the ever-lovely The Feel Good Florist, among others. Days like this, surrounded by good people doing what they love, are something I never take for granted.
Chloe & Adam – what a joy you are. Your day was full of heart, laughter, and those beautifully in-between moments that make weddings so special. I loved every second of capturing it all.
