Samantha & Nicholas - An Elegant Autumnal Manchester Hall Wedding - Manchester Hall Wedding Photography
“Came in like a vision from the old west wind
Like a bright new dream that I was steppin’ in
I saw your face and I knew it was a sign
And I still think about that moment all of the time
You know that I could never make this up
I found the reason I’m not givin’ it up
I felt the fever when I knew he was mine
Oh I, I’m gonna love you for a long time”
Saturday’s wedding with Samantha and Nick at Manchester Hall was one of those days that remind me why I adore being a Manchester wedding photographer. From the very first moment I arrived, the whole day was filled with warmth, laughter, and so much love — the kind that radiates from every hug, every toast, every happy tear.
Samantha and Nick had planned the most beautiful celebration with a rich, autumnal colour palette that perfectly suited the season. The florals by Willow & Fig were nothing short of spectacular — deep rust tones, soft blushes, and plenty of greenery bringing the rooms of Manchester Hall to life. The morning buzzed with excitement as Sarah Meredith worked her magic on hair and makeup, creating timeless looks for Samantha and her bridal party that complemented the elegant setting perfectly.
Their ceremony, led by the lovely Manchester Registrars, took place in the Museum Gallery — a stunning space filled with natural light and emotion. Surrounded by 120 of their closest friends and family, Samantha and Nick exchanged vows that had everyone smiling (and maybe wiping away a little tear or two).
Afterwards, guests enjoyed drinks and canapés in the Golbourne Room, a perfect backdrop for mingling and laughter, while we slipped away for a few relaxed portraits. I love photographing couples around Manchester — the mix of classic architecture and urban charm gives every shot a little extra magic. Samantha and Nick were a dream to photograph: joyful, relaxed, and so wonderfully in tune with each other.
The evening flowed effortlessly into a delicious meal and heartfelt speeches that had the room alternating between laughter and misty eyes. Their beautiful cake, created by Cake Creations by Rebecca, was a showstopper — elegant, detailed, and (from what I hear!) absolutely delicious.
And then came the party. The brilliant High Frequency took to the stage, and from the first song, the dance floor was full — and stayed that way!
It was such a joy to capture this day for two genuinely lovely people. If you’re planning your own Manchester Hall wedding and looking for natural, joy-filled Manchester wedding photography, I’d love to tell your story too. Because days like this — full of love, laughter, and dancing — deserve to be remembered beautifully.
