I absolutely loved being with Claire & Ian on their big day in Liverpool — what a joyful whirlwind of family, friends, laughter, and love. If you’re looking for the kind of celebration that makes for the most memorable Liverpool wedding photography, this is it.

From the moment the four-year-old twins (yes, they stole the show) toddled charm-personified down the aisle ahead of their parents, you just knew we were in for something special. The twins’ little hands, big grins, tiny steps of big moment—oh, my heart. And then Claire & Ian followed, so warm, so full of love, so completely themselves.

Their ceremony took place in the grandeur of Liverpool Town Hall, where the architecture was elegant, the vows sincere, and the emotions beautifully raw. Then came the party: over 130 of their nearest and dearest gathered, and the whole venue brimmed with hugs, cheers, clinks of glasses, and impromptu sing-alongs. This was Oh Me Oh My wedding celebration turned up to full volume—boozy, family-filled, big fun, the kind of day where folks dance like no one’s watching.

And speaking of dancing, of course the floor was never empty. Please believe me when I say I live for such moments in my work as a wedding photographer: the proud parent speeches, the nanas sneaking free champagne, the just-married giddiness, the joyful chaos and quiet calm.

As night fell, the party didn’t slow—it just got a little more magical. We slipped up to the rooftop of the venue, overlooking the iconic Liver Building, city lights twinkling, a gentle breeze and that distinct sense of “we made it to this moment together”. My camera clicked while they laughed, embraced, and soaked it all in. What a gorgeous final chapter to the day.
