Jakub & Sebastian - An Intimate & Emotional Sale Town Hall Wedding - Cheshire Wedding Photographer

“We loved with a love that was more than love.”
— Edgar Allen Poe

Yesterday was one of those wedding days that quietly settles into your heart and stays there.

I had the honour of photographing Jakub & Sebastian’s intimate wedding at Sale Town Hall — my most local wedding venue, and one I genuinely love. There’s something timeless and tender about weddings at Sale Town Hall. It always feels like a place where meaningful stories unfold, and this one was no exception.

Their celebration was beautifully small: just 10 close family members, gathered with intention, love, and a shared sense of how special this moment truly was. Their parents travelled from Poland to be there, and the emotion that carried through the day was impossible to miss — soft tears, warm embraces, proud smiles, and the quiet weight of being together for something that mattered so deeply.

The ceremony was heartfelt and moving, the kind that makes you hold your breath for a second longer. Jakub & Sebastian were calm, joyful, and completely present with each other — full of warmth, tenderness, and that gentle certainty that they’ve found their person. It was emotional and beautiful in the most honest way.

Afterwards, we showered them in confetti — and made sure their ten-year-old rescue greyhound, Ronald, was right there in the middle of it all. Ronald was a true scene-stealer: sweet, soulful, and slightly confused about why petals were raining from the sky. Seeing them all together — love, laughter, confetti, and a very elegant greyhound — was pure joy.

We then headed to Worthington Park in Sale for portraits, leaning fully into the moody charm of a gloomy February afternoon. The rain softened everything, giving the light a cinematic, romantic feel. Jakub & Sebastian cuddled close beneath umbrellas, laughing through the drizzle, completely unfazed by the weather — if anything, it made the moment feel even more intimate. The mist, the grey skies, the quiet closeness — it all felt poetic.

This is exactly why I love my job. Documenting love in its truest, most heartfelt form — especially in a setting like Sale Town Hall — feels like such a privilege. Intimate weddings like this, filled with emotion, meaning, and genuine connection, are a reminder of what really matters.

Jakub & Sebastian’s day was tender, rain-kissed, and full of heart — and I feel so lucky to have been part of it.

I truly love what I do.

Here’s a little sneak peek of what we got up to!
