Hannah & Andrew - A Joyous Sale Town Hall & Kimpton Clocktower Wedding - Manchester Wedding Photographer
“You are sunlight through a window, which I stand in, warmed.”
Yesterday was one of those wedding days that felt joyful from beginning to end — warm, relaxed, and full of love in all the best ways.
Just a few short weeks ago, Hannah & Andrew got in touch about their Sale Town Hall wedding. With their gorgeous two-year-old daughter Imogen already keeping them busy and another baby on the way, wedding planning had been delightfully last-minute — and I’m so glad our paths crossed when they did.
Hannah grew up in Sale, so it felt especially meaningful for them to hold their ceremony at Sale Town Hall, surrounded by 55 of their closest family and friends. It’s my most local venue and one I always love returning to. There’s something about the atmosphere there — elegant but relaxed — that makes intimate ceremonies feel incredibly special.
Hannah looked radiant, Andrew looked completely smitten, and little Imogen absolutely stole a few hearts along the way. The ceremony itself was full of smiles, soft laughter, and the kind of happy emotion that ripples through the whole room when two people are clearly so in love.
Afterwards we stepped outside for a celebratory confetti shower — always one of my favourite moments of a Sale Town Hall wedding. Petals flying, guests cheering, hugs all around… the perfect way to begin the celebrations.
From there we made our way into Manchester for the second part of the day at the beautiful Kimpton Clocktower. Kimpton Clocktower weddings have such a distinctive atmosphere — grand, romantic, and full of character — and it was the perfect setting for Hannah & Andrew’s drinks reception and speeches.
We took a little time for some relaxed portraits before everyone gathered for drinks and heartfelt speeches. The room was full of laughter, proud family moments, and so much warmth for this lovely little family. Hannah & Andrew are genuinely wonderful people — kind, sweet, and completely devoted to each other. It was such a pleasure to photograph them.
I left shortly after they cut their cake in the spectacular Winter Gardens, just as the evening celebrations were beginning to unfold. The space looked magical, and the atmosphere was full of excitement for the night ahead.
It was such a lovely day from start to finish. Weddings like this — full of love, family, and genuine joy — are always such a privilege to photograph.
Hannah & Andrew, thank you for having me along. You were an absolute dream.
