The Story So Far
Emily & Tom - An Intimate, Floral-Filled Manchester Hall Wedding - Manchester Hall Wedding Photography
Emily & Tom chose a more intimate approach to their day, booking me for a half-day wedding photography package – proof that you don’t need all-day coverage to capture the magic. In just a few hours I was able to document so many heartfelt moments, from their ceremony in Manchester Hall’s iconic first-floor Library ceremony room through to family portraits, couple photos, and a joyous confetti exit as they made their way back up the aisle.
Alex & Stewart - A Laidback, Love-filled Wedding at The Deaf Institute - Deaf Institute Weddings
But of course, it wouldn’t be an Alex & Stewart wedding without a wild twist. As golden hour began to fade, we all made our way to the legendary Deaf Institute, one of my absolute favourite Manchester city-centre wedding venues. From elegant to electric – the party vibe was next-level. A banging DJ, a cheeky ice luge (rude in the best way), and an endless supply of fancy dress accessories kept everyone on their feet. I left just after 10, and let’s just say… things were only just getting started.
Fran & Alan - A Relaxed DIY Autumn Wedding at Grub in Red Bank - Manchester Wedding Photographer
Capturing Fran and Alan's wedding at Grub on a gloriously sunny October Saturday was an absolute delight. The intimate ceremony unfolded under the twinkling lights of the cinema room, creating a magical ambiance for the couple and their 70 closest family and friends. As a photographer, there's nothing quite like witnessing such raw emotion and love in an intimate setting. I love how Grub truly thinks about the setting and how the space can be used by each individual wedding, no two celebrations I capture there are the same!
Rachael & Tommy - A Colourful, Chaotic (in the best way!) Love-fest GRUB Wedding - Manchester Wedding Photographer
Whilst the kids were occupied, several incredibly moving and heartfelt speeches were made, particularly paying tribute to those no longer with us and really reminding us all that life is so short and precious and, at the end of it all, THIS moment is our why - to share space and food and time and to love each other as hard as we can.
David & James - A Beautifully Emotional Pride-Month Wedding at Home - Manchester Wedding Photographer
David and James’ gloriously triumphant whirlwind of a wedding day was a 15-years-in-the-making fairytale, a celebration of PRIDE because when they first got together, marriage was not a legal option for them. This wedding was a breathtaking example of making their wedding day about who they are as a couple and how they want to share their story with the people they love the most in this world. And what a day it was…
Let's Bee Married in Manchester - My Favourite Manchester City Centre Wedding Venues - Manchester Wedding Photographer
Forgive the TERRIBLE title pun - I’ve tried to be witty and it’s just come out daft! I wanted to share today a selection of my very favourite Manchester city centre wedding venues, spaces I’ve worked in and loved whether it’s because the staff is exceptional, the space is iconic or even just because it’s a super central blank-canvas city centre venue and we literally have the whole urban landscape at our feet to explore for your amazing portraits.
Laura & Luke - A Glorious King Street Townhouse Wedding to Kick off 2023 - Manchester Wedding Photography
And what a day it became! Because not even the odd rain shower interrupted our fun and conveniently even held off whilst we captured confetti and applause and group shots and portraits in front of the iconic King Street Townhouse.
