These two beautiful humans are a perfect example of the best parts of my job and their wedding on Saturday was the most gorgeous and chic autumn wedding. I met up with Chris and Tom at their city-centre home in the early afternoon. After Friday’s downpours we were THRILLED that the sun shone all day! The grooms wore lovely custom tailored tweed suits in complementary fabrics and each had accented with a very elegent Hermes pocket square.

Martha & Dave have been together for 11 years, a fact mentioned many times with love and affection and a little bit of ‘aboutdamntime’ yesterday. They are sweet and kind and clever and FUN and FUNNY and their wedding day not only was beautiful and special in it’s own right but it was enhanced to the point of dazzling by all the the love that building of beauty contained.

I was first introduced to the WONDERFUL and hilarious Jo & Scott via mutual friends (and fellow wedding photographers!) Zoe & Tom of About Today Photography. Needless to say, I landed the gig and thus tagged along yesterday afternoon to capture what was a beautiful, joyous, friend and family-filled celebration at the Waterhouse-designed Council Chambers (part of the University of Manchester) and onward to a big fat soiree at the quirky/cool Leaf on Portland Street.

Sarah & Nick (despite being INSANELY photogenic) aren’t massive fans of posed photos so when it came to shooting their beautiful King Street Townhouse wedding, I knew that my priority was to captured the story as it happened and not take them away from the party
